Enbase Announces the Remote Monitoring + Asset Control Panel Solution Package

Houston, Texas: Enbase Energy Technology, a leading technology and automation company exclusively serving the energy industry, announced today the release of its Remote Monitoring + Asset Control Panel solution package for E&P, midstream and energy services companies.

The Enbase Remote Monitoring solution is the first of its kind to provide the energy industry with a choice of either wireless radio, cellular and/or satellite connectivity options. This keeps monthly communications costs low, and allows Enbase Remote Monitoring customers to electronically track all assets and equipment – not just the most expensive ones. For example, with the Enbase Remote Monitoring solution, it is possible to run a completely cost-free wireless radio mesh network on all assets in a field or location, and only use satellite or cell communications at a single backhaul point, significantly reducing monthly communications fees. Additionally, if and when assets are moved or new wells are brought on line in a different region, the Enbase Remote Monitoring solution can switch between radio, cell or satellite coverage to meet the exact needs of each environment. No other remote monitoring solution offers this type of flexibility.

The Enbase Remote Monitoring solution can communicate directly with existing PLC’s, RTU’s or SCADA systems and provide the wireless communication link for these tools. Alternatively, it can serve as a standalone PLC utilizing its onboard I/O and communicate data back wirelessly on its own. In addition, it comes pre-configured with GPS, on-board flash memory and equipment remote control options.

Importantly, the Enbase Remote Monitoring solution does more than just collect and transmit asset and production data. It comes complete with a web-based, “Asset Control Panel” that provides a number of production and equipment data points, indicators and trends (e.g., pressure, temperature, suction, throughput, runtime, tank levels, RPM, oil pressure and much more), as well as alarms, mapping and map-based alerts. Information and alerts can also be sent to mobile phones and other wireless devices.

As a final point of interest, the Asset Control Panel can streamline regulatory and HSE requirements by automatically collecting, storing, transmitting and submitting information directly to EPA and state agencies – and share information with your existing environmental management system.
